The original music of Sam Qureshi is a unique hybrid of Brazilian Jazz formed of Bossa Nova and Latino stylings that are taking the world by storm. Sam is formally recognised in Brazil by some of its finest musicians and has worked with the Sergio Mendes percussionist Gibi Dossantos (currently rated best in the world) as well as many other notable players. He works closely with Rio-based labels such as Grooveland Music )who referred to him as the ‘’new Stan Getz’)’, Music delivery and recently signed to Imusica for a release of 7 albums Digitally. Back home in the UK, the words of London's iconic Straight No Chaser Jazz Magazine – Paul Bradshaw are well founded; ‘’Exporting Bossa Nova from Manchester to Brazil’’.  Sam has licensed of 2 of his tracks on Eddie Pillars prestigious Acid Jazz production ‘’Mo Jazz 2’’ compilation.

Sam Qureshi’s reputation spilled across the pond as he has also been invited to record in the USA with some of their finest Jazz Musicians after a tip-off by legendary Guru of Blue Note Records Bruce Lundvall. Another achievement was when Paramount Pictures commissioned Sam Q to appear as a street busker in the production of the ‘’Alfie’’ movie starring Jude Law.

In Manchester he was spotted by former ‘’The Smiths’’ manager Joe Moss who quite possibly had a firm vision of his destiny –

‘Sam Q’s Nightpatrol can do for Jazz Music what The Smiths did for independent music. No record companies believed that Indie music and The Smiths would ever sell but at the end of my promotions they were queuing up to sign us! We sold millions of records. Sam Q has an incredible stage presence to couple up with his ability to write very catchy and danceable songs that will certainly appeal to ‘’Majors’’ market place’.
— Joe Moss - Former "The Smiths" manager

THIS FACT HAS SINCE BEEN PROVEN by the reaction to Sam's UK gigs. At The Printworks in Manchester,Sam Q’s Nightpatrol supported both Bet Middler and Lionel Ritchie pre-arena MEN – Shows – Audiences danced away rapturously to support the ‘’visions of both Joe Moss and Bruce Replogle".

UK ‘’Mods’’ have demanded vinyl records and Sam Q has obliged with a 12 inch EP – ‘’Peles Groove’’ recorded by Abbey Road Producer Dave Pemberton which landed him a publishing deal instantly with London-based Hoxton/Bucks Group. Two of the tracks feature a live 30 piece Orchestra that oozes a swagger comparable to the finest Latin Jazz in the World.
